College physics at LCS is a college level laboratory science course with optional credit through New York State University at Albany. The curriculum is based on Physics 105 and 108 at UAlbany.

Students may register for three college credits for the fall couse (PHYS105) and three credits for the spring course(Physics 108) through SUNY's University in the High School program.

All students will take semester finals in January and June in addition to the New York State Regents exam in June.
